Approach birth with confidence
During pregnancy, a wide range of emotions can surface: joy, wonder, and gratitude, but also uncertainty, fear, and loneliness. Many expectant mothers find themselves pondering questions such as:
- How can I prepare physically and emotionally for the birth?
- Will I cope with the intensity of contractions? Should I opt for pain relief?
- Will my medical care providers have the capacity to give me all the support I need?
- How do I stay in control of my own birth?
- My first birth experience was traumatic, how can I create a positive birth experience?
- Will my partner also be supported before and during labor?
As a doula, I support you – and your partner – in approaching the birth of your baby with confidence. Attuned to your unique needs and wishes, I'll help you navigate your journey into parenthood.
Am I the right doula for you?
A great experience with a doula begins with a personal connection. That’s why we always start with a thorough video call, and, if you’d like, an optional in-person visit in the comfort of your own home. This gives us the chance to meet, discuss your needs, and ensure we’re the perfect match for your journey.
Holistic
When a baby is born, so is a mother. It is a life-changing experience that calls for a holistic approach. Continuous support, whether the birth takes place at home or in the hospital, makes all the difference. My guidance is practical, unbiased, loving, and completely tailored to your needs.
Informative
Throughout your pregnancy, you’ll learn practical techniques like breathing and birthing positions, as well as gain insight into various birth scenarios. We’ll also discuss navigating the medical system and aligning your birth plan with your personal preferences, so you feel informed and prepared.
Attention
for you and your partner
The support of your partner is vital, and I will not take over this role. On the contrary, I’ll guide your partner in gaining the knowledge and confidence to support you during and between contractions, stepping in only when needed.
Placenta encapsulation for birth recovery
Did you know that your placenta could be the key to a faster, easier recovery after birth?
